Afterschool Programs offering education or enrichment activities must be located in the attendance area of a public school where at least 50% of the students are eligible for free or reduced price meals to participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program.
A public or private nonprofit organization that provides care to children after school through an approved program located in an eligible area may be eligible for reimbursement for snack or meals served out-of-school hours.
